Finish your drink as fast as you can then make a mad dash for the door to get to the front of the line for cabs, ignoring all the signs from that cute guy / girl across the bar?

Take your time finishing your drink, deciding exactly how you are going to make your move on the previously-mentioned guy / girl, before security ask you politely to make your way to the door (our security are good like that). By then you realise all the cabs are gone and it’s going to be a long walk / wait in that famous sideways Ballarat rain. And to make matters worse, the souva shop is closed.

Slowly finish your drink and meander upstairs, tucked up in bed even before the friendly bar staff have had time to discuss who got the votes…

The Western offers great budget accommodation for that weekend getaway or overnight stay during the week while in town for work. Our rooms are on the first floor with 24hr access with early departure easily accommodated for. The is a communal lounge and small kitchenette available for all guests so don’t forget to ask our team to show you these spaces.
